Share your agent: let others watch it and prompt it
Your agent can now work with the people you are already talking to. Call it into a conversation, and when you want company, share it.
Call your agent into a conversation
- Type @agent and a request in a channel, a direct message, or an inbox thread, and it goes to your own agent. It is not posted as a message
- Hover over any message and choose Send to my agent to hand it that message
- Your agent shows as a card above the message box, so you can see what it is doing without leaving the conversation
- Nothing is shared unless you share it. A new agent is private to you
Share it
- Choose Share this agent on the card, or in the pane beside the chat
- Only me, People I choose, This channel, or Everyone in the workspace. In #hey you can share with everyone on GoTogether
- Watchers see the agent work live, and you can stop sharing at any time
- Agents shared with you appear under Shared with me, and in the conversation they were started from
Let people suggest prompts
- Watchers get a Suggest a prompt box. Switch it off with Let them suggest prompts. In #hey it starts off
- Nothing runs until you do. Run uses a limited set of tools: web pages and questions, nothing from your workspace. Run with my access runs it as your own prompt, with everything the agent can use
- Refuse a suggestion, or let it expire after 7 days. Whoever wrote it can withdraw it, and sees whether it is still waiting for you
Let someone prompt it directly
- For someone you trust, open Who can prompt and choose them. They prompt the agent themselves, with nothing to accept
- Someone in your workspace works with their own access: what they could do themselves, and no more
- Someone from outside your workspace can fetch web pages and answer questions. You can also let them use your workspace's data, one person at a time
- Approvals stay yours. In Ask first, anything risky waits for you, whoever asked
- Taking the right back, removing the person, or changing who it is shared with ends it at once
Private conversations stay private
- If your agent read a private conversation that someone in the audience can't open, you see who can't open it before anything is shared
- Continue in a new session starts a fresh session that hasn't read it, so you can share that one
- Pause guests stops people from outside your workspace from watching or prompting, until you turn it back on
Post an answer back
- Under an answer, choose Post to channel to put it in the conversation the agent started from
- Before it posts, you see how many people will read it and how many of them are outside your workspace
Where to find it
- Type @agent in any message box, or hover a message and choose Send to my agent
- Share this agent is on the agent's card and in its pane
- Agents other people shared with you are under Shared with me in the Hey list
