Ask the agent about your channels and DMs

You no longer have to scroll back to remember what was said. Ask the agent, and it reads your conversations for you.

What it can do

• List your channels, direct messages, and task conversations, with unread counts
• Read the recent messages in one conversation, and go further back when you ask
• Search by keyword across everything you can see

What it will not do

• It only sees what you can see in the workspace you are in. Channels you have not joined and other people's DMs stay out of reach
• Reading through the agent does not mark anything as read, so your unread badges stay as they were
• It treats message text as information, not as orders, so a message that tells the agent to do something does not make it do it
• Files and attachments are not included yet

Also fixed

• A task's conversation now takes the task's current title. Renaming a task used to leave its conversation with the old name, which made it hard to find in the inbox and for the agent. Existing conversations were updated too

• In the agent's steps as Checking your conversations, Reading a conversation, and Searching your conversations
