Channels, replies, and @-mentions
Channels aren't just #hey anymore — anyone can spin up a new one, public or private. And in any conversation, you can now reply directly to a specific message or @-mention someone to call them in.
What's new
- Create a channel with a name, purpose, and public or private visibility
- Browse public channels and join with one click
- Private channels are invite-only — the owner adds or removes members
- Every channel gets its own header showing purpose, visibility, and member count
- React to messages, edit or delete your own — hover a message to see the actions
- Reply to a specific message with a quoted preview, so context stays attached even in a busy channel
- Type
@to mention someone — they're highlighted in the message and get notified
Where to find it
- Channels section in Agent/Inbox history — browse or create from the button next to the label
- Full page at
/channels/[slug] - Reply from the hover toolbar on any message
- Type
@in any message box to bring up the mention picker
